At this point, given you are running the sample wire project only, App set-up can only be done in XCode using the target summary page.

When the App Creation Studio is released to Beta, you will be making these settings right within our online studio.

I am glad you are loving it. The test build that you have been given is not allowed to build to a device. This is intentional.

When we release the beta for the App Creation Studio, you will be able to build to a device to test with.

From a wire perspective, if your build is invalid, you should be seeing an iOS alert modal that comes up within the simulator informing you of an error. If you are not seeing this, please let us know.

As for validating an entire XML file, probably the quickest way to do that is to open in firefox and it will validate the XML for you. I know this is an external fix, but we will look into a stronger in house solution in the future.

I am glad you figured this out, you did exactly what you needed to do. This will not cause any instability.

The reason for this issue, most likely is that the sample wire you got has not been updated to 5.0 yet. I apologize for that.
